    Interrogative words

    Les mots interrogatifs :

    Les mots interrogatifs sont toujours au début de la phrase interrogative. Il est rare qu'il y en ait plus d'un. Le questionnaire et ce cours n'aborderont que les phrases interrogatives avec des mots interrogatifs mais on peut faire des phrases sans mot interrogatif comme : 'Are you English ?'. Le mot interrogatif est toujours suivi de l'auxiliaire qui est 'be', 'have', 'do' ou d'un modal ('can').

    Structure d'une phrase interrogative(avec mot interrogatif) :

    Mot interrogatif+Verbe auxiliaire+Sujet+Verbe*+Suite de la phrase

    *sauf si c'est un verbe auxiliaire alors il doit aller après le mot interrogatif et donc il ne faut rien laisser entre le sujet et la suite de la phrase

    Tableau :

    What---------------Quoi, que, quel

    Where---------------Où

    When---------------Quand

    Who---------------Qui

    How---------------Comment

    How often---------------Combien de fois

    How much/many---------------Combien

    How long---------------Combien de temps

    Why---------------Pourquoi

    Which---------------Lequel/laquelle/lesquels/lesquelles

    Whose---------------à qui
