    I) LIKE
    When you find something pleasant:
    I like English.
    ❤️

When you enjoy something a lot, you can use LOVE :
    I love foreign languages.
    ❤️❤️❤️

We use the present simple (I like / he, she, it likes) because it is true today but also tomorrow or in a few days.

    II) I DON'T LIKE

    When you don't like something:
    I don't like carrots. 🖤
    He doesn't like carrots. 🖤

If it is followed with another verb, please use -ING:
    I don't like eating carrots. 🖤

    More:
    I hate carrots. 🖤🖤
    He hates carrots. 🖤🖤

    More:
    I can't stand carrots. 🖤🖤🖤
    He can't stand carrots. 🖤🖤🖤

    III) AGREEMENT TAGS
    - STEP 1: check if it is an affirmative sentence or a negative sentence.
    Affirmative? Use SO...
    Negative? Use NEITHER...

    Examples :
Peter likes carrots. So do I.
    ❤️

Peter doesn't like carrots. Neither do I. 🖤

    - STEP 2:
    use the same tense.
In the two examples above, we use DO / DOES because the first sentence is in the present simple.

    - STEP 3:
    Build your sentence:
Affirmative: SO + auxiliary (same tense) + subject
Negative: NEITHER + auxiliary (same tense) + subjet

    Try with these sentences:
Paul: I like English a lot.
    Sarah: So do I.

    Paul: I don't like potatoes.
    Sarah: Neither do I.

    :p5 Other tenses?
Peter phoned Sarah. So did I.

Peter didn't phone Sarah. Neither did I.

We use DID because the first sentence uses the preterite.

    IV) TEST
Sarah likes tennis. (John) -> So does John.
Please enter the dot at the end.
