    There is a difference between WATCH - LOOK AT and SEE.

    When you open your eyes, you SEE without thinking.

    SEE is an inactive word.

    Example: I open the window and I see a bird on the tree.

     

    You must want to LOOK AT, but for a short time.

    LOOK AT is an active word.

    Example: Look at these flowers. They are beautiful.

     

    You must want to WATCH, but for a long period of time.

    WATCH is an active word.

    Example: I want to watch a film on TV
