Travelling today has become an ordeal rather than a pleasure. Recently I went to Lyon for a long weekend. Don't get me wrong, the weekend was wonderful but the actual trip was not! Lyon is only 1,000 km here and we flew but it still took eight hours to get ! And even longer to get Why did it take so long? Easy, we flew Heathrow! Even worse, terminal 4, Heathrow. If you have ever been to this airport you will understand why. It's the busiest airport the world. Plus, at the moment, the extra strict security, it takes a long , long time to go the check-in process. We are now recommended to arrive 2 hours the flight, even a short-haul flight. We had already checked online and printed our boarding passes before leaving home, so we simply had to leave our bags the fast bag drop and then go security when we arrived.
