    British explorer Robin Drake says that the first international expedition (start) next March. They (try) to reach the north pole on a 480-mile journey. If Drake (succeed) he (be) the first man to walk to both the north and south poles. Drake (go) on the icewalk expedition with navigator Alan Winterson. When they (arrive) in Thule in northern Greenland, the international walkers (join) them. As soon as they (get) to their base camp, Eureka, inside the artic circle they (have to)build huts to protect themselves from temperatures as low as minus 55 degrees celsius. We (do) a lot of experiments to see how much pollution is in the area, said Robin. The results (help) us to understand the effects pollution on the planet, including the greenhouse effect. If the weather (be) good enough, they (make) a film of the expedition. Robin said that when we (get) back home we (show) it to people over the world.
