    At 7 :30, Jane's alarm clock rang and she (wake up). She opened the shutters and (let) the sunshine in. She (feel) ready for her Saturday morning jogging. First, she (feed) her Siamese cat, then put her tracksuit on and (go) running in the park for an hour. When back to her flat, she (take) a shower, (drink) her first cup of tea and read the newspaper. Later, she went shopping and (buy) some cheese at the market. She also (choose) some ripe pears to make a crumble. She (drive) home and got everything ready for her dinner party : she had invited her new neighbours. She (lay) the table and waited for her guests. They came at 8:00 and (bring) some Californian wine. Her new friends (enjoy) the dinner and congratulated her for her delicious crumble. Then, they (leave) at around midnight. Jane (tidy) the kitchen and went to bed. She (be) exhausted but very happy. It had been a very nice Saturday indeed !
