    1. Pick a perfect Christmas tree : Trouvez le sapin de Noël parfait

    A fir tree : un sapin

    Needles : aiguilles de pin, de sapin

    The scent of pine : l'odeur du pin

    A rich fragrance of pine : une bonne et forte odeur de pin

    Pine cones : des pommes de pin     

     

    2. Take care of  your tree : Prenez soin de votre arbre

    A stand : un support, un pied (pour le sapin)

    A tree skirt : un jupon de sapin (pour cacher le pied)

     

    3. Be careful ! : Soyez prudents

    A fireplace :  une cheminée

    A candle : une bougie

    a fire hazard : un risque d'incendie

     

    4. Add the lights : Ajoutez les lumières

    Rope lights : guirlande électrique (rope = corde)

Wrap the lights around the branches. Now, the garlands ! Start at the top of the tree and work your way . Don't wrap the garlands too tightly or your tree look like a Christmas sausage ! Then, hang the ornaments and space them apart. Don't forget the final touch : a lovely tree !
