    the sun is shining        look at that cloud !     the wind is blowing          it is raining hard today

    (shine / shone / shone)                        (blow / blew / blown)        it will be rainy for the whole day

    it is sunny today         it is cloudy today            it is windy today               it will rain tomorrow

             il faut utiliser le verbe ' be' pour parler du temps. On ne peut utiliser 'do' ou 'make'

     

                                                                           

    it is snowing                                  it is a foggy day                         it is stormy

    the weather will be snowy next week  ;  be careful in this thick fog!  I hope the storm won't last too long.

    the snow will come from the north                                            it is thundering (il tonne)

             on utilise 'will' pour prédire le temps

            when there is both sun and rain you can see a rainbow     

    the colours are:

    red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet 

                               

     

    On the Fahrenheit scale the freezing point of water is 32° and the boiling point is 212°

    In order to convert the Celsius temperature into Fahrenheit

        --multiply by 9

       --divide by 5

       -- add 32

    example 30° C       30x9=270     270:5=54   54+32=86        30°C => 86°F

    The human body temperature is closer to 98.6°F
