    Sentences and comparison


    A-When the same verb is required before and after  than/as , we can use an auxiliary for the second verb:

         EG:I eat less than he does.(less than he eats)

         EG:You are stronger than he is.

     

    B-When the second cause consists only of than/as+I/we/you+ve ,and there is no change of tense , it is usually possible to omit the verb :

         EG:I am not as old as you(are).
