    • UP
    • An upward movement :
    • 'The sun is coming up.' = 'Le soleil se lève'.
    • An increase, an improvement :
    • 'Sales are up !' = 'les ventes sont en hausse !'
    • Completing, ending :
    • 'We have used up all the eggs.' = 'Nous avons utilisé tous les oeufs.'
    • Approaching :
    • 'A car drew up and stopped.' = 'Une voiture s'approcha et s'arrêta.'
    • Test :
    • Complete each of the sentences with the correct form of one of the verbs.
    • N.B : If the' object' is a pronoun, the particle comes after : ' A flower to cheer you up.' / Si l'objet est un pronom la particule se place après.
