    When four of Santa's elves got ( I C S K ) , and the trainee ( E S E V L ) did not produce the toys as fast as the ( U L E R A R G ) ones, Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind ( D H E E U S C L ) . Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her ( M O M ) was coming to visit. This ( S D E S R S E T ) Santa even more. When he went to harness the ( S E N E R R E D I ) , he found that three of them were about to give ( H I R T B ) and two had ( M P J E D U ) the fence and were out, ( H E V N E A ) knows where. More stress. Then when he began to load the ( S E H G I L ) one of the ( B R S A O D ) cracked, and the toy bag fell to the ( U O R G D N ) and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the ( H O U E S ) for a cup of ( L E P A P ) cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the ( B O U A C P R D ) , he discovered that the elves had hidden the ( Q O R I U L ) , and there was nothing to ( D I R K N ) . In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the ( D E C R I ) pot, and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the ( T N C I H E K ) floor. He went to get the broom and found that ( I E M C ) had eaten the ( S W R A T ) end of the broom. Just then the ( B O O L D L R E ) rang, and irritable Santa trudged to the ( O O R D ) . He opened the door, and there was a little ( G L A N E ) with a great ( I G B ) Christmas ( E T R E ) . The angel said, very ( Y U L H C R E E L F ) , 'Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a ( E L V L O Y ) day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to ( S C I K T ) it?' And so began the ( D O A I T T R I N ) of the little angel on top of the ( S A C M R S T H I ) tree.'
