    * to be afraid of / to be worried(about )---> inquiring about and expressing fear or worry.

     

    *to be afraid of + V+ing:the ing form expresses an action which the subject fears may happen.

    EXP : I avoid to go out in the dark.I'm afraid of being attacked.

     

    * to be worried about somebody or something:expresses anxiety and worry.

    EXP :This fat woman doesn't eat sweet things;she is worried about her health.
