SNOW WHITE AND THE 7 DWARFS : CHARACTERS*

Once upon a time…

Alerted by a hunter who was told to kill her and bring her heart back to the Queen, Snow White is  frightened and flees deep into the woods where she takes refuge in the Seven Dwarfs' cottage. The Dwarfs welcome her as a house guest. Snow White begins a new life with them, cooking and keeping the cottage tidy while they are working in the mine.

She believes that her jealous, cruel stepmother ,who wants to kill her, will not be able to find her…

3. Doc is very ( A E L N D R E ) , he is a scientist, and he wears glasses. He can answer almost every question about any topic. In France they call him “Prof.”
4. Dopey is not very ( I E T T E G L I N N L ) , he is rather stupid. He is a simpleton. “Simplet” is his French name.
5. Grumpy moans and groans all day long, he is always ( U M L N G B I G R ) . This dwarf is known in France as “Grincheux”.
6. Happy is always glad and there's no moment when he is not ( N G L I S I M ) . In France, when they speak about him, they say : “This is Joyeux !” and they smile as well.
7. Sleepy always looks tired, as if he had not slept enough. He is ( Y R O S W D ) , in France his nickname is “Dormeur”.
8. Sneezy seems to have a cold all the time, he is always ( Z E N I N G E S ) . 'Atchoum' is his French name, referring to the noise we make with our nose when we have a cold and sneeze.
9. The Queen is a good-looking woman, but she is not so beautiful as Snow White, which makes her very ( J E L S O U A ) . She is heartless and tries to kill her stepdaughter. Fortunately she will not succeed.
10. The Prince is a very nice ( A H D M N O E S ) young man. Most fairy tales end with a Charming Prince who comes and marries a beautiful young Princess !
