    Modal can (video)

     I can/ I can't

    CAN n'a pas d'infinitif.

    Exemple : He can.

    Exemple : He can swim

Forme interrogative : Can you swim?

Forme négative : She cannot speak English

    ou                         She can't speak English.

    Exemple:

     Can you speak English?

     Yes, I CAN             No, I CAN' T

A la forme affirmative, can peut exprimer:

la capacité physique : He can swim

la capacité intellectuelle : He can speak English

Une demande polie : Can I use your pen please ?

    Pour demander une autorisation:

    Can I go out tonight?

A la forme négative, can't exprime:

    L'incapacité physique : I can't swim

    L'incapacité intellectuelle : I can't understand this

    L'absence d'autorisation : I can't go out with you tonight.

A vous de compléter les phrases suivantes à l'aide de CAN ou de CAN'T
