    Texte/WTC
    Message de thomas1906 posté le 14-01-2017 à 11:25:03 (S | E | F)
    Bonjour,
Je dois faire un exercice pour la semaine prochaine : je dois dire très rapidement pourquoi la photo des attentats des tours jumelles peut être considérée comme une forme de protestation ( après avoir présenté l'oeuvre et son contexte).
    Voici mon texte.
This photo was taken on September 11th 2001 during the disastrous assassination attempt of World Trade Center and particularly twin towers. Just before the explosion than we can see, two planes plunge into the towers and do a lot of deaths. A short of afterwards, the monuments fall down.
Even if , this photo has been published in a lot of medias, she stays protester. Indeed, many persons by looking this picture are sad and afflicted but also revolted by consequences of terrorism. It's in a way a photograph of protest .

    Merci beaucoup de votre aide.
    Bonne soirée.

    Bonjour.

This photo was taken on September 11th,(virgule) 2001 during the disastrous assassination attempt of the World Trade Center and particularly the twin towers (il me semble que les deux expressions veulent dire la même chose). Just before the explosion than(than, c'est le que du comparatif) we can see, two planes plunge into the towers and do(plutôt cause) a lot of deaths (Remarquez bien qu'on s'en doutait un peu, la phrase est un peu naïve). A short of(ne va pas, faites un adverbe sur short) afterwards, the monuments (les tours ne sont pas des monuments, c'étaient des bureaux ) fall down.(to fall down,c'est tomber pour un humain, quand un bâtiment s'effondre, on emploie to collapse)
Even if ,(virgule inutile) this photo has been published in a lot of medias, she (= elle pour une femme) stays protester (ne veut rien dire). Indeed, many persons by (by indique un moyen, ce n'est pas le meilleur choix ici) looking at this picture are sad and afflicted (ces deux adjectifs sont redondants) but also revolted by the consequences of terrorism. It's in a way (à mettre en tête de phrase)a photograph of protest (faites un nom composé).

    Bonsoir,

Donc après vos remarques j'ai refait mon texte et cela donne :

This photo was taken on September 11th, 2001 during the disastrous attack of the World Trade Center. Just before the explosion that we can see, two planes plunge into the towers and are the origin a lot of deaths (3000). Then , the twin towers collapse
Even if this photo has been published in a lot of medias, it is even so protesting. Indeed, many persons by looking at this picture are sad and afflicted but also revolted by the consequences of terrorism. In a way it's a protest photograph.

    Merci de votre aide.

    Bonsoir,
This photo was taken on September 11th, 2001 during the disastrous(désastreux, pour moi, c'est le résultat d'un impondérable, une chute d'arbres, une tempête... ici, l'attaque était préméditée, je mettrais un autre adjectif. C'est un peu comme si on parlait de la conséquence désastreuse des camps de concentration sur le nombre de survivants juifs en Europe) attack of the World Trade Center. Just before the explosion that we can see, two planes plunge into the towers and are at the origin a lot of deaths (3000). Then , the twin towers collapse(prétérit possible pour les trois derniers verbes).
Even if this photo has been published in a lot of medias, it is even so protesting("elle est même tellement protestante" ne veut rien dire). Indeed, many persons by(complément de moyen, ne va pas) looking at this picture are sad and afflicted (redondant) but also revolted by the consequences of terrorism. In a way it's a protest photograph.

    Les traductions en ....ant:
    He came in, smiling (simultanéité).
I often do the washing up while watching TV: simultanéité, on insiste plus.
He escaped by breaking a window: moyen
On hearing the sad news, she fainted: soudaineté.
I am surprised at hearing that: surprise.
