    Hello,
    Would you please let me know which of the following sentence is correct?
    1- The volume of that gas was considered (as) the dependent variable and the other characteristics studied were considered (as) independent variables.
    2- The volume of that gas was considered (-) the dependent variable and the other characteristics studied were considered (-) independent variables.
    3-The volume of that gas was considered (to be) the dependent variable and the other characteristics studied were considered (to be) independent variables.
