    Message de miri posté le 29-09-2008 à 00:29:43 (S | E | F)

Hello!! i've a small actevity about the passive voice so please help me to correct it:

-Turn the verbs between brakets into the simple past passive when necessary.
A:What happen to the Exxon Valdez?
B:It(wreck)wrecked off the coast of California and the oil spilled out.
A:The oil (wash)was washed out onto the beach?
B:Yes!it was.it (spread)was spread out by the winds.
    A:the fish (poison)was poisoned?
    B:yes,they were.they (suffocate)were suffocated.
ok that's all please correct and explain it to me

    Hi!

there's just one mistake ( at the end....), a verb that cannot be conjugated with a passive voice.

    sebastien

A: What happened to the Exxon Valdez?
B: It (wreck) wrecked [ où est l'auxiliaire ?] off the coast of California and the oil spilled out.
A: The oil (wash) was [ position de l'auxiliaire !] washed out onto the beach?
B: Yes, it was. it (spread) was spread out by the winds.
    A: the fish (poison) was [ 1. position de l'auxiliaire ; 2. "was" = singulier – était-ce un seul poisson ?] poisoned?
B: yes, they were. they (suffocate) were suffocated.

Les autres phrases sont correctes ; "to be suffocated" existe.
