    Bonjour,
j'ai des phrases à mettre au passif et j'aimerais avoir confirmation.
    Merci d'avance.

    I. Turn the following sentences into the passive, whenever this is possible. If not possible, use the symbol Ø.
    1. He explained the whole situation to us.
    2. I’m afraid you can’t rely on that kind of character.
    3. People say she used to be a temperamental person.
    4. They are repairing our car at last!
    5. Nobody has ever slept in this bed.
    6. He made the runners come back before sunset.
    7. You can’t sit on that chair, it is too small!
    8. You can’t sit on that chair, you are too big!
    9. People asked us where we came from.
    10. His boss had offered him a position in San Francisco, which he had refused.
    11. It is necessary to iron that shirt.
    12. They didn’t allow her to see him in prison.
    13. I don’t think we can account for every situation.
    14. People said she was deceiving her husband.
    15. They said he had been a spy during the war.

The whole situation was explained to us by him.
I’m afraid that kind of character can’t be relied on.
She is said to be a temperamental person.
Our car was been repaired by them at last !
This bed has never been slept in.
The runners were made to come back before sunset.
That chair can’t be sit on, it is too small !
That chair can’t be sit on by you, you are too big !
We have been asked where we came from.
He had been offered a position in San Francisco by his boss, which he had refused.
    That shirt needs ironing.
She wasn’t allowed by them to see him in prison.

    Bonjour

    3. People say she used to be a temperamental person.

    14. People said she was deceiving her husband.
    15. They said he had been a spy during the war.

The whole situation was explained to us by him(sera peut-être considéré comme maladroit).(on pourrait aussi trouver: We were explained the whole situation
I’m afraid that kind of character can’t be relied on.
She is(j'aurais mis au passé) said to be a temperamental person.
Our car was been (erreur, il faut un ing au passif comme dans: I am being followed))repaired by them at last !
This bed has never been slept in.
The runners were made to come back before sunset.
That chair can’t be sit(participe passé) on, it is too small !
That chair can’t be sit on by you(bien maladroit!), you are too big !
We have been(j'aurais mis un prétérit pour garder l'aspect implicitement daté) asked where we came from.
He had been offered a position in San Francisco by his boss, which he had refused.
That shirt needs ironing. That shirt is to be ironed, needs to be ironed.
She wasn’t allowed by them(bien maladroit) to see him in prison.
ø Every situation can't be accounted for me semble pourtant exister mais ça ne prend pas en compte I don't think...
She is(prétérit) said to be deceive(infinitif passé: avoir trompé) her husband.
He is(prétérit) said to have been a spy during the war.

    Hello !

"3. People say she used to be a temperamental person.
She is(j'aurais mis au passé) said to be a temperamental person."

    - je mettrais : She's said to have been a temperamental person.

    - "Every situation can't be accounted for" me semble pourtant exister mais ça ne prend pas en compte I don't think..."
et là, je mettrais "I think not every situation can be accounted for" ou plus "simple" (à cause du "not every" qu'aucun élève ou presque ne mettrait spontanément!) : "I don't think every situation can be accounted for."

Pour le reste, tout d'accord avec gérondif . Les temps doivent être respectés et les agents mentionnés uniquement s'ils ont un caractère indispensable à la compréhension.
