    Police/advantages and disadvantages
Message from zhong posted on 23-07-2009 at 10:57:05

Hello, coud you correct my essay please?
    Thank you for your answers.

To be a police has both advantages and disadvantages.
    Advantages:
First of all, a police can meet variety people or things. If you are the people who very easy to boring, to be a police would be a good choice to you. Every single day a police shows up, he don’t know what’s going to happen.
Secondly, that is an exciting job also. You will meet lots of challenge in your job experience.
Finally, Police will do good things in the community. They will obtain people’s respect.

    Disadvantages:
First of all, that is a dangerous job.
Secondly, you will work long hours. Even some off-duty days, people who know you are police, they would ask you help.
Thirdly, that is a thankless job. To protect people is you duty, so you often put your own safe back of you mind. However, nobody will thank you, because everybody think that is you duty.
Finally, the rising crime rate is another disadvantage to be a police.

    Hi,

here I put the help you need to correct your essay:

To be a police (voc) has both advantages and disadvantages.
    Advantages:
First of all, a police (vocabulary) can meet variety( voc, you need an adjective) people or things. If you are the people( is it a plural?) who( verb?) very easy to boring( verb structure in ING is not correct, you need a passive form), to be a police (voc) would be a good choice to you. Every single day a police shows up( meaning of the verb?), he don’t( auxiliary form is not correct) know what’s going to happen.
Secondly, that is an exciting job also. You will meet lots of challenge ( lots so you forgot the plural mark on the noun) in your job experience.
Finally, Police will do good things in the community. They will obtain people’s respect.

    Disadvantages:
First of all, that is a dangerous job.
Secondly, you will work long hours. Even some off-duty days, people who know you are police (voc), they would ask you help.
Thirdly, that is a thankless job. To protect people is you duty, so you often put your own safe( this is the adjective, you need the noun) back of you mind. However, nobody will thank you, because everybody think that is you (you need the possessive pronoun) duty.
Finally, the rising crime rate is another disadvantage to be a ( wrong pronoun)police (voc).

    Please ask for any help;

    Cheers

    sébastien
