    Message from lolotte13 posted on 08-10-2012 at 15:10:04 (D | E | F)
    Hello !

I hope the subject has not been posted before (there are so many pages !!)
I like to read mystery novels but I never know how to say the names of guns, for example : 357 magnum, colt45 ...
Thank you for your help !

    Hello,

    You can ask Audrey here
    Link

She says 'three hundred and fifty-seven Magnum' and 'Colt forty-five'.
I suppose both pronunciations are right for 357 Magnum, but I prefer np's because it's shorter.

    Hello

You can ask Audrey, but she's just a dumb broad, isn't she? She just speaks things literally. I've never heard 357 magnum spoken as three hundred and fifty-seven magnum! LOL Hey, laddie, bring me my colt dot forty-five. If you can't find it, give me my point three hundred and fifty-seven Magnum!

I thought there was something odd about Audrey
