    Hello ,

Could someone please tell me what these two collocations mean ?
    To confirm or deny
    Within reason

Thank you very much, have a nice time.

    Hello how are you doing?
Within reason means:Within the bounds of good sense or practicality.
As you know good sense is same as common sense.
About the other one I don't know.
    Hope it helps.
    Wish you a good time.

    Hello

"Someone said that you've been fired. Can you confirm or deny it?" That is, is the answer yes (confirm) or no (deny). Some people don't want to confirm a rumor, so if you ask someone to confirm or deny, that gives them the option to deny it if they wish. I hope this helps.
