    Give Way/help

    Hello to you all.

What does "give way" mean on British road signs?
    Thanks for any helpful answer.

    Hello,

It means that you have to let any other vehicle go before you keep on your own way.You have no priority; yet, if you are alone and there's no vehicle around, you are not obliged to stop at the road sign.

    Dictionary definition:
2 (British English) to allow somebody/something to be or go first.
Give way to traffic already on the roundabout.
