    A question /look for-at
    Message from biblanche posted on 06-10-2014 at 23:32:06 (D | E | F)
    Hello,
In the sentence: I can't help you right now. I am looking __________ my favourite photos. It could be filled by the prepositions at and for?
    Thanks for any reply.

    Hello,
One fits better than the other because of the nature of the first sentence. Which word would be best, at or for, to explain why they wouldn't be able to help another?

    Hello,
I think "for" will fit better than "at", if you look at the sentence very well.

    Hello,

I have modified the sentence of the test by adding 'in my big album'

If you search the photo then it should be "for", but if you are looking at the photo then it should be "at"..

    That is off the subject.

p.s: Sorry Lucile about forgetting to say "hello" ,probably I was writing so quickly that I didn't notice it. I'm really sorry.
