    A letter to Lucile !

    A LETTER TO LUCILE
    ToLearnEnglish
    Pau France, August 30th
    Dear Lucile,

Well, I promised to write to you but, honestly, I didn't expect to write to you for that!
    Perhaps I had better explain.
Just a few lines to tell you how much I enjoyed my week with you and how much I appreciated all the trouble you went in to help me make my first steps as a moderator so easy and funny.
    I had a wonderful time !
By chance Bridg wasn't on 'ToLearnEnglish'. She let us know that she was ill and needed to go to hospital.Poor Bridg, we were very sorry for her and I managed to see her on Tuesday morning.

In fact, it was a joke. She left hospital as soon as I came back home.
This morning a friend, who had been in Spain till yesterday, phoned me and told me that he had seen her lying on a beach near his hotel.
How was it possible ? I could hardly believe it. While she was lying on a beach, sunbathing, drinking and gossiping, we all were very anxious, waiting for medical news.
    It was a shame !
We have worked hard all the week and she was doing nothing at all, so I would like to tell you about an idea :
What about a trip through Australia ?
As you may know, she'll be here tomorrow, so it's time for us to go on holidays, we need a rest. I suppose you could tell her that you have to go and see your family and I have to look after my old mum.
    Isn't it a brilliant idea ?
Yesterday I asked our friend Banane, he agreed to carry all our luggage. He was afraid because she said to him this morning that she'd pull his ears when she comes back.
    So , let's go !!!
PS. See you at Toulouse airport, on Saturday morning at 8 o'clock on Flight CA 1765 to Australia

    Love
    Bobine
