    1)To ANNOY (to irritate) = to get on somebody's nerves.

    -  He keeps speaking about himself... quite an annoying habit.

     

    You must make a difference between the participles in –ing (active meaning) and in –ed ( passive meaning )

    -  Stop taking my things... it's really annoying and I won't bear it...

    -  I was so annoyed by what he said that I never want to see him again.

                                                                                   

    2) To  BORE; to be/ feel/ get bored = (to get weary because of dullness or tiredness);

    -  There's really nothing to do here ... I'm getting bored.

     

    You must also distinguish the participles boring (active meaning) and bored (passive meaning).

    -  The lecture was so boring that many people left before the end.

    -  When the students are bored, they become restless.
