A or An

Today we shall learn when to use (a) and when to use (an)

Let's start with A:

A is placed in front of almost any singular word starting with a consonant, for example:

A desk - A chair - A carpet - A white table...

It is placed in front of almost everything, but it is not placed in front of verbs, vowels or pronouns.

Now let's go with An:

An is used in front of almost any singular word starting with a vowel.

Here are some examples:

An animal - An elephant - An iguana

Now choose between A and An before the words in the sentences.
