    Message de jojo7139 posté le 25-11-2020 à 11:44:19 (S | E | F)
    Hello everyone

Please could you tell me how to express this: es-tu réveillé?
    Are you awake or
    are you waking up?
    And Why

    Thank you for any reply.

    Hello jojo.
'Are you awake' is the usual way to say this if it is understood as two distinct states; I was asleep, but now I am awake. 'Are you waking up' means a process in progress, so it indicates there is difficulty in becoming fully awake. While this is possible, the first is more common. Does it make sense?

Hello; you can usually use "up" as a sysnonym for awake. "Are you up yet?"

    See you
