    I have not found an explanation for an end or a end and websites do not clarify,help!

    Hello,
    The word "end" starts with a vowel sound.
    Any word that starts with a vowel sound you must use "an" in front of it and not "a".
    An ant
    An egg
    An end
    An igloo
    An object
    etc.
