    Correction/ sentences
    Message from hannahlee posted on 16-02-2018 at 14:06:06 (D | E | F)
    Hello,
Could you help me please check my sentences with grammar!
    Thank you.

l think reading books is more important than watching tv especially to children.
Usually, tv tend to have violent contents, and they focus on entertainment.
On the other hand, books are focusing on education and improve children to be more imaginative, and they can stretch out their realm of their knowledge and ability to see beyond things.

    Hello hannahlee,
    Here are some corrections.

l think reading books is more important than watching tv (use capital letters TV) especially to (wrong preposition) children.
Usually, tv (capital letters) channels tend to have violent contents (should be singular), and they focus on entertainment. (TV channels tend to have...and they focus on... or (TV tends to have...and it focuses on...)
On the other hand, books are focusing (use present tense for a general state ...books focus... on education and improve (help someone to be more... replace improve with help) children to be more imaginative, and they can stretch out their realm of their knowledge (either the realm of their knowledge or their realm of knowledge...) and ability to see beyond things (I don't understand what it means "to see beyond things". Maybe ability to be creative? ability to see new possibilities?.
