    Pronounciation-help
    Message from wantmore posted on 07-05-2017 at 12:39:34 (D | E | F)
    Hello!
I am very confused about two vowels [e] and [æ]. "Bed" and "Bad", for example, just sound the same to me. I pronounce [e] with a small mouth shape and pronounce [æ] with a bigger one. I am told to tell the difference according to the context which I think is OK when having a dialogue. I would like to learn more details about these two vowels.
    Thanks for any reply.
