    A problem/help
    Message from kobejames posted on 06-07-2017 at 11:05:49 (D | E | F)
    Hello,

Excuse me for asking such a low-level question. The following text comes from a book named Jekyll and Hyde.
"Let us make a bargain never to refer to this again." "With all my heart,"said the lawyer."I shake hands on that,Richard."
Q1:"With all my heart" means "I'm in favor of it"?
Q2:What does "I shake hands on that" mean?
    I'm very anxious for help.
Please help me, thank you all.

    Hello kobejames
In this sentence "with all my heart" means "I fully agree with you."
"We can shake hands on it" : You can say that two people or groups shake hands on a deal or an agreement when they conclude it successfully.
Meaning : Let us make a bargain ... I agree with you. So, we have made the right decision.
    Hope it helps.
