When you are young you may do things that you when grown-up. When I was a ten-year-old boy, we swimming in a river about five kilometres away from my hometown. On hot summer days, we our bicycles to that river. I was very bad swimming then I could only swim three metres or even less. So I preferred walking in the river than swimming. But once we went to the deeper part of the river. I into the river as usual. But suddenly I that I could not touch the riverbed with my feet. I was and moving my feet and arms like a swimmer but it was all in vain I move forward. My friends were only two or three metres away and they could have helped me if I had asked them. I didn't want them to laugh at me later. I was only one or metres away from the shore. I was and drinking a lot of water. Suddenly I felt something like a plant stem. I it then and to my surprise I the place I was drowning was only one-metre deep, I stood up calmly. I happy I didn't shout for help and I never told them anything about that day. that experience I took swimming courses. I can now swim like a frog but not like . Now I think how silly of me it was not shouting for help.
