      In English there are  a lot of verbs  meaning 'to look at' , here  are some of them : 

    To look at         something still

    To watch          to look at someone/ something  for quite a long time

    To stare           to look at  someone /something  fixedly

    To glimpse        to look at someone/something ) in a quick way 

    To glare at        to cast an angry glance at someone

    To gaze            to look in admiration at someone/something

    To squint          to look sideways

    To blink             to look opening and closing one’s eyes

    To  eye             to look at/ to observe  someone with suspicion for some time

    To peek at         to cast a furtive glance
