    Idioms: Your skin


    Your skin! It's an important organ of the body. It's not equally revealed or shown, depending on traditions and habits. In our  European society, skin is shown and sometimes carelessly exposed to the sun. It represents a surface area of two square metres and weighs from 3 to 8 kg on average.  

     

    It is very widely mentioned in  expressions and idioms in many languages, including English.
