The old jeep eats up the bumpy trak with a deafening sound. We are in the heart of the Southern African savanah sprinkled of some thorny bushs and anthill. I gaze at the horizon looking for signs of life. There are three or four dried earth cases but no living soul. After many kilometres, finally we catch sight of a little herd of antelope. Our driver makes a break and we take some photos to immortalise this moment. We carry on under an excessive heat but little by little, the landscape change. High, orange sand dunes appear. We cross a cople of ostrichs which run easily in these moving hills. I suspect Hassan, our guide to have improvised an itinirary of roller coaster ride. We climb and go down for fifty kilometres to arrive by the great Atlantic Ocean which opens out to us.
