    Dogs and you

    New York a Dog Paradise.

Today in New York, dogs live like humans. They go to the restaurants, they go to shopping and they even go to the gym!
Americans love their pets. In 2003 they spent $8 billion on them. There are about 68 million dogs in U.S.A, but the lucky ones live in New York. Many New Yorkers are single, and they treat their animals like children. For many New Yorkers, having a dog is a perfect way to meet new friends.

    Dogs have everything.

Dog owners in New York want to give their dogs everything. They consult pets psychiatrics and pets psychics. They take their dogs to special restaurants, to parks where children are not permitted and to a 'doga' class (dog yoga).
They employ dog walkers and dog babysitters. They buy dog perfume and chic dog clothes and accessories. Many rich New Yorkers - including star like rapper Puff Daddy - take their dogs to 'Doggy Village', a five-storey building just for dogs. Their dogs can use the exercise rooms, a swimming pool, a restaurant, and a reception room for dogs parties.

    A hotel for dogs.

The most luxurious hotel for dogs in New York is in 'Ritzy Canine'. The Ritzy Canine is modelled on the Trianon Palace in Versailles in France. The 25 rooms have TVs, beds and sofas. Gourmet food is prepared by an Italian chief.
Welcome to the crazy life of New York's dogs!
