By trusting him, Sabrina would never have imagined for a single second the misaventure that would happen to her. She repatriated all her belongings and climbed the stairs with them to the fith floor of this building without any lift, on an old street in the city centre. It was a Tuesday, and on Friday night she would sign a formal leash with the one she believed to be the owner of this building, for the rental of a room. He had promised her by swearing even on his daugther! Beside, her fiancé Lucas paid his rent to this self-important old man who was contemptous of everyone, starting with his own wife and daughter, but at the time no one in the group had noticed it yet. Mister Duchnoc hid his diabolical game well. It was on October, 28th. The end of the week came as usual, sharing the night meals in the apparent conviviality and laughter. On Saturday, 31st, Sabrina went to work at dawn, without suspecting anything. In the evening, at ten o ' clock, completely exhausted with her day, she returned and could not open the front door of the building. A bailiff had come in the meantime and had made the lock changed. On November, 1st, being a public holiday, Sabrina spent it alone, anxious in her car. On Sunday November, 2nd, Sabrina went to see one of her neighbours, Hélène, whom she used to talk with. Hélène explained the truth to Sabrina. On November, 3rd, Sabrina and Hélène went to the Police station and Sabrina explained her situation. Hélène confirmed her claims even though she had been interrogated separately. Sabrina still hadn ' t seen Lucas again, by the way, where had he gone? In the third evening, Sabrina got into a home, then a fortnight later was placed in a second home, the time to settle her affairs. After a meeting with the bailif, Sabrina managed to recover all her belongings. Then much later, she ended up moving somewhere else, happy with this change. A few years later, she had a series of galleys with the hotels of another commune where she was following a professional training. Definitely, croaks and slumblords are aplanty in that area!
