    1. The days are declining. You need no watch to see it. The (too hot) heat is starting to become more bearable again.

    2. Here is September: we are sliding towards autumn, three weeks (before) of the climate side,as for all the seasons. Successive waves of tourists have gone.

    3. Our beaches, our forests, our countryside find calm and desertion, spaces freed from this (difficulties with breathing) feeling that makes us desert them during the summer.

    4. We can walk there again without suffering all this disturbing, noisy and (crowded) agitation.

    5. Autumn is my (preferred) season. The best days set in for about two hundred and forty days!

    6. If I love spring, for its (flowery) scents, its renewal, its colours, the return of the sun in my garden,

    7. and the (expected) arrival of birds and migratory insects from the sky, to accomplish here the miracle of life,

    8. I do prefer autumn for its extended nights, its (less polluted) night sky,

    9. its (colder) nights, its long-awaited first rains in my area!

    10. Think about it, it's been at least five months that good rains, (merit) of the name, are missing!
