Forget, remember, stop, be sorry + gerund or infinitive

There is a difference in meaning depending on whether forget, remember, stop, or be sorry for is followed by a gerund or an infinitive.

Here are some examples to illustrate this:

    - I will never forget kissing my future wife for the first time.
    - I will always remember kissing my future wife for the first time.
    - Never forget to kiss your wife before you leave.
    - Always remember to kiss your wife before you leave.
    - Don't stop kissing me.
    - Let's stop to kiss. (Let's stop another activity in order to kiss.)
    - I am sorry for not kissing you yesterday before I left.
    - I am sorry to kiss you without having brushed my teeth.
