=> There aren't any vegetables left!
How can we know if we have to use the singular or the plural?
- 1- There isn't + uncountable + left (if we talk about something that has not been used completely)
- 2- There aren't + countable + left (if we talk about something that has not been used completely)
- You have to know what words you are using, countable or uncountable.
-There is water on the floor: you can't count water, so that word is uncountable.
-There are eggs on the table: you can count eggs, so that word is countable.
