    Super bowl

    THE SUPER BOWL

This event is more than a sporting event. It has become a national event viewed through the electronic stadium of television. And sponsors traditionally create very expensive and funny ads for which they're paying more than $2 million US for a mere 30 seconds of airtime.

It is not expensive as an estimated 130 million people in the U.S. will watch the game and see the 61 half-minute ad slots. It is also a prestigious event: being at the Super bowl is as prestigious as being at the Academy Awards.
