    My parents are both from Paris.     (My parent 1 and my parent 2 are from Paris.)


    You can also say:

    Both my parents are from Paris.

    They both live in Paris.

    Both of them live in Paris.  


    Other examples:

    My father is both a singer and a composer.  

    My mother speaks both languages. 


    He can both read and write English. 


    If there are more than two people, use 'two':

    We have three girls, two of them are teachers. 



    THE TWO       

    To highlight the differences between two elements, use "the two".

                          The two boys speak different languages.      

     That sentence is different from:

                           Both boys speak the same language.



    Other example:
                           The two girls sang together.  




     NEITHER        Not the element 1, not the element 2.

                            I like neither of these books.



    NONE       
    Not the element 1, nor the element 2, nor the element 3, nor the element X.

      We have three sons but none of them lives nearby.



    ALL       
    everybody, all elements.
    All of my neighbours are nice. 
    I like all of them.
