A crazy man steals rings for Claudia Schiffer

A CRAZY MAN STEALS RINGS FOR CLAUDIA SCHIFFER

BERLIN - A man obsessed with Claudia Schiffer has been sent by a Berlin court to a psychiatric clinic because he stole 124 wedding rings for the German supermodel.

The court said that the man was not guilty of robbery due to mental illness. In the hold-up, he used a toy pistol and wore a Halloween mask to steal the rings and a watch worth 57,000 euros.

But the court said the man was a danger to society and ordered him sent to a clinic for treatment.

'I was only thinking about Claudia Schiffer,' the man told the court. 'I needed so many rings so that she could pick one out. Besides, I wasn't sure about her ring size.'
