Road Safety Measures
Deterrent- a thing that makes somebody less likely to do something
Carpool/Carsharing- a group of car owners who take turns to drive everyone in the group to work, so that only one car is used at a time
Speed bump- a raised area across a road that is put there to make traffic go slower
Road bend- A curve or a turn in a road
Speed camera- a machine which takes pictures of vehicles that are being driven too fast. The pictures are then used as evidence so that the drivers can be punished
Congestion- full of traffic
