    Alone - Lonely - Only

Alone means ''by yourself''. There is nobody else with you.

Example: I go out walking alone every evening.

Lonely means ''feeling sad and isolated''. It is a negative emotion.

Example: I don't have any friends so I feel lonely all the time.

Only means '' just one'' and the word only must be placed before the word it modifies or written at the end of the sentence.

Examples:  My friend is the only child in her family.

    I have only one tablet.

She went to the supermarket and she  bought a bottle of milk only.
