The Sacred Mountain Huang Shan

The Sacred Mountain Huang Shan or Yellow Mountain is in the province of Anhui in Eastern China. A long time ago, I sincerely hoped I could see those landscapes which have inspired so many painters and poets.

Everywhere ragged black peaks (to stand up), odd- shaped pine-trees (to grow) straight out of the rocks, braving deep ravines. We (to hear) again the torrents running down the valley. We (to catch) sight of squirrels,and birds soaring in the sky. Some bushes of rhododendrons (to colour) the landscape here and there. (to wear out) but satisfied, we (can) admire the Huangshan Mountain.
