Love at first sight
Read, understand, remember and complete the sentences, and have fun :
A few years ago, I went dancing at a big party on Valentine's Day and there I saw a tall and handsome man. He came near me with a bottle of champagne and said:
-'May I offer you a drink? Can I buy you an ice-cream or would you like to go and get a cup of coffee?' I did not have time to reply. He was very talkative. He began another series of questions :
-'What's your name? Do you want to dance with me? Do you have a boyfriend? Do you want to be my girlfriend?'
We danced all night and he kept on speaking:
-'Is heaven missing an angel? What time do you have to be back in heaven? Do you have a map? I'm lost in your eyes. I have a crush on you.'
Later, he became more loving.
-'I'm in love with you. Do you believe in love at first sight? I'm not drunk, I'm just intoxicated by you.' To be honest, I was a bit taken aback. I was shy and as red as a tomato, but we had fun. We laughed a lot.
From that day on, a different life started. Ten years later, he still speaks very much and he is now a lovely husband and the dad of my three children.
Happy end!
