To make passive, we use: to be + past participle .
To be: ( am, is, are, was, were, be , been, being) The tense of be is based on the sentence, and the form (plural or singular) depends on the object that is the subject of the passive sentence . Pay attention please.
1) Mary posted two letters yesterday.
We omit Mary , two letters becomes the subject of the passive sentence:
1)Two letters were posted yesterday. (by Mary)
