it's very easy to remember this grammatical point, how much? or how many?
How much question: It's used for uncountable nouns
Examples: How MUCH coffee is there?
tea
water
Mind if you have for example Cup of coffee, glass of water,..., it becomes countable, then you should use "how many".
How many question: It's used with countable nouns
Examples: How MANY eggs do you want?
