Enjoy your meal
Good food is bad. Most of the food that people enjoy eating in Europe as well as in the USA tastes good but is bad for their health because it contains too much fat, salt and sugar. Besides, most people do not eat enough fresh fruit and other foods which contain fibre. Moreover, most people do not exercise enough, which is bad for their health, and for their looks.
We often have bad eating habits. We eat too much and do not exercise enough. Snacks, ice creams, popcorn and hot dogs are on sale everywhere and we tend to nibble away all day. What's more, a lot of the food we eat, like hamburgers or french fries, is junk food, that is food which is bad for your health because it contains far too much animal fat.
Another important factor of obesity is television, especially with children who spend hours watching TV and nibbling food . Many children are overweight and unfortunately do not like going to sports anymore.
Health food is good business. One person in four want to lose weight and feel healthier. They spend millions a year for that purpose. The money goes to manufacturers who make sugarless sugar or low-calorie food, and to health food restaurants and retail stores.
There is hope ! More and more people are being educated to eat healthier food while cooking good meals.
Enjoy your meal !
